BMW maintenance is included with the purchase of your vehicle for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Your maintenance coverage can be extended for up to seven years and 125,000 miles. Please ask your Service Advisor for details.

BMW uses a Condition Based Service (CBS) maintenance schedule that is prompted by indicators on the control panel of your vehicle. Your first service should occur between 12,000 and 18,000 miles, or after a period of one year, regardless of miles driven. This is called the Engine Oil Service. If vehicle is driven less than 12,000 miles in a period of one year, an annual oil service is important.

Having your BMW serviced at these intervals is the best method of keeping your car or SAV in top running condition and preventing unexpected repairs.
Service begins in the vehicle. The innovative service concept.

Intelligent service starts in your BMW from where you can call up your service status at any time. Data on wear-and-tear parts and fluid levels is constantly monitored and stored in your car key and can be accessed by our BMW Service Center during your next service appointment. This provides you with an individual service plan that is flexible, cost-effective and time-saving.

Condition Based Service
The intelligent maintenance system CBS permanently monitors oil levels and the degree of wear and tear on individual components. It also checks the time/mileage recommendations for fixed services. It analyzes this data and tells you when a service is next due. Data can be checked at a glance on your Info Display, which automatically gives you four weeks' notice. The iDrive Control Display gives you exact information on which component needs a check. So you can plan your service appointments well in advance and avoid any unnecessary maintenance work. Together with BMW TeleServices, the data collected by CBS is automatically transferred to our BMW Service Center so that they can contact you to arrange an appointment, as long as BMW Assist is active and we are your home dealer.
The KeyReader
Reading the service-relevant vehicle data saved on its key, the KeyReader enables our BMW Service Center to immediately access all relevant information accurately and effortlessly. And because the need for manual data entry is eliminated, our BMW Service Center has more time to focus on your individual requirements. Handing over your car keys has never been so satisfying: exceptional service guaranteed.

Your BMW Service Centers
BMW Service Centers are never far away, thanks to our global network. Wherever you are, this global network, together with the continual transfer of knowledge, ensures optimum service every time.

What is TeleService?

The purpose of coolant is to enable your engine to operate at a broad range of temperatures. Over extended use, this coolant gradually begins to deteriorate, leaving it unable to protect the cooling system from rust, corrosion and other harmful deposits. Any restriction at all in your cooling system will affect the system's ability to cool your engine. Eventually, the system will
fail, leading to engine breakdown.

When it comes to maintaining the brake system, you
certainly want to avoid future costly repairs. But the foremost issue is safety. When you depress the brake pedal in your vehicle, the force from your foot is transferred to the brake through an incompressible fluid. Over time, brake fluid tends to collect moisture, which can corrode inside the brake lines. This moisture can also lower the boiling point of the fluid; if compressible vapors become present within the fluid, there is potential for brake failure. In addition to moisture, the brake fluid gradually collects dirt and other debris that can cause wear on calipers and damage the various intricate components of an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). Why take any chances? As part of our Brake Fluid Service, we will completely remove the old fluid out of the entire brake system, including the calipers and master cylinder. We then will install new fluid that can extend the life and safety of the system.

The fuel injector is an electronically controlled valve responsible for supplying an even flow of fuel to your vehicle's engine. The injectors spray directly into the combustion chamber or on the intake valves, and it is critical that this spray
is as fine a mist as possible, so that the fuel will burn more easily. When fuel injectors become dirty or clogged, your vehicle can experience problems ranging from surging and hesitation to hard starting.  Utilizing our specialized equipment, one of our highly trained technicians will clean your vehicle's fuel injectors with a specially formulated solvent that flushes out unwanted particles and deposits, enabling your vehicle's fuel injectors to deliver a fine, even spray. This service not only can improve driveability and restore horsepower, but it can also improve fuel economy.
